FEED (Food & Economic Empowerment Division) - is a Magisstar platform that develops sustainable and effective Food and Economic Empowerment initiatives. It facilitates production and distribution of Nutritious healthy food products and socio-economic transformation The program facilitates Building of agricultural value addition programs, that are adapted to the local prevailing social and climatic conditions and that also integrate mindset transformation strategies. This results in: >>Sustainable and scalable socio-economic transformation >>Availability of nutritious healthy food products >>Empowerment of people for a productive life >>Creation of jobs The program also facilitate farmer groups to TAP into the benefits of the value added agriculture by working with them to build inclusive agri-value addition programs, using crops that naturally do well in their regions without requiring much inputs TAP - The AgrePlus, a program within the FEED platform, is also a go to platform for trusty, value added and nutritious healthy food products Through this program, Magisstar Centre of Influence designs and builds agri-value addition programs for food and economic empowerment - for clients (villagers, organisations, and other groups) - either as a joint venture or as a service. The company sets up an agri-value addition research and development facility alongside each program to keep it afloat/ahead and facilitate its expansion. Also included in the package, depending on demand, are influential water and energy solutions that provide support to the farmers in the program. - TAP The AgrePlus that focuses on building agri-value addition (agro-processing) programs using an innovative agro strategy known as MINVASET (Minimum Input and Natural Value added Agriculture for Socio-Economic Transformation) MINVASET is an agro strategy that identifies strategic crops that naturally do well in a particular area without requiring much inputs. It then formulates a suitable value addition technology / strategy that transforms crops to a high value commercially appealing products. The program then facilitates farmers to grow the crops which are then added value through natural processing methods, packaged and the products sold to make money for the farmers and the program activities.
