Magisstar Education and Technology Platform (MET-P)with a mandate of: > Equipping people with Skills, Values and positive Mindset > Building products and programs that address local and global challenges > Facilitating people to sharpen and exploit their God give edge It comprises: i. Magisstar School -> that provides transformational, value based and solution centred education and training, alongside the Kenyan government Competency Based Curiculum (CBC) The School also runs alongside a Food and Economic Empowerment - FEE - program, that empower the locals to among other things pay for the school fees Magisstar School facilitates learners to: => Correctly identify, grow and utilize their individual strengths, gifts and talents => Acquire and live by cherished values in life => Cultivate an ongoing relationship with God, who will guide, bless and make one’s labour to be fruitful ii. CEP-OA (Continuing Education Program Opportunity for All) -> providing a second chance to the out of school youths and adults to continue with their education to their desired level. The program also provides other formal and non formal learning opportunities iii. Magisstar Institute -> an upcoming institute with the aim of building champions and puting knowledge and skills into practical application The institute supports Magisstar School, CEP-OA and other Magisstar Cente of Influence initiatives 2. Sharpen & Exploit your Edge platform (S-EyE) A platfom that facilitate people to identify, sharpen and optimally utilize their God given edge; >> to be the best God created them to be, >> to shine and >> to make their valuable contribution SYEP comprises the following programs: i. Magisstar EyE Program -> a versatile program that facilitates people to SEE - to Sharpen end Exploit their God given Edge The platform also facilitates you to locate your path in life and make life out of it ii. ONE-P -> Facilitating people to: Build solutions to ONE important Problem that affect the society -> It also facilitates people to Champion a cause in the society (living for a cause in life) iii. Grab-T (Grab a Trade) -> Faciliates people to sharpen and utilize their God given edge to build a trade that yields profit and purpose - A trade that will grow you, give you profit and facilitate you to effectively serve the pruposes of God for your life -> The program also facilitates skill training without regard to age or grade (ST-AG) Thirdly, Grab-T program also facilitates people to transform Ideas to Action and to Profit and Purpose (IAPP) 3. Food & Economic Empowerment Division (FEED) - A platform for Food and Economic Empowerement. It Comprises: i. TAP - The AgrePlus - That facilitates villagers (farmers) to exploit their eco crops for food and economic empowerment. The program provides innovative agri-value addition strategies that yield trusty nutritious healthy food products, economic empowerment and people development TAP - The AgrePlus also cordinates an Agri-value addition Centre plus Reserch and Training ( AVC+RT) TAP - The AgrePlus is also a go to platform for trusty, value added and nutritious healthy food products ii. Jireh Food Bank The Jireh Food Bank inititive faciitates production, preservation and distribution / marketing of food in the village / region of operation. - TAP- The AgrePlus that focuses on building agri-value addition (agro-processing) programs using an innovative agro strategy known as MINVASET (Minimum Input and Natural Value added Agriculture for Socio-Economic Transformation) MINVASET is an agro strategy that identifies strategic crops that naturally do well in a particular area without requiring much inputs. It then formulates a suitable value addition technology / strategy that transforms crops to a high value commercially appealing products. The program then facilitates farmers to grow the crops which are then added value through natural processing methods, packaged and the products sold to make money for the farmers and the program activities.
